Audition for Descendants The Musical
Descendants The Musical Synopsis: Imprisoned on the Isle of the Lost – home of the most infamous villains who ever lived – the teenage children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella De Vil have never ventured off the island… until now. When the four troublemakers are sent to attend prep school alongside the children of beloved Disney heroes, they have a difficult choice to make: should they follow in their parents’ wicked footsteps or learn to be good?
Rehearsals start on January 18th and are on Sundays 4 PM-7:00 PM; Mondays 5:30 PM-7:30 PM, and Wednesdays 5:30 PM-7:30 PM. Performances will be split into two weekends with two casts: April 24, 25, 26, and May 1,2,3.
Auditions are open to students 4th - 12th grade
Audition Dates:
January 11th 4 - 7pm , 12th 5:30 - 7:30 pm, and 14th 5:30 - 7:30pm, with callbacks held on the 15th from 4-6pm.
All children registering will be cast in the show. The audition process is used to determine roles.

Use the pay later option if you are not yet certain you will be joining the cast, need to set up a payment plan or need financial assistance.

After you register, you will receive an email with the date and time of your audition. When you arrive for your audition, you will need to bring THIS AUDITION FORM with you to audition.

Audition Requirements
1) Monologue: Everyone auditioning, no matter what size role, is asked to perform a monologue no more than 1 minute in length. This can be from any play, musical, movie, or TV show as long as it is age-appropriate and evokes the character you're auditioning for or, if you're auditioning for ensemble, evokes your own personality and acting abilities
2) Song: Everyone auditioning, no matter what size role, is asked to perform a song from the list below. Each character has the song selection listed under the character's name.
*If you're auditioning for the general ensemble, you can choose to sing either the provided ensemble audition song, or if you're not comfortable, you could instead sing a simple a cappella song such as Happy Birthday.
Callbacks: Not everyone will be asked to a callback. If the Casting team wants to see more from you before making casting decisions, they will ask you to a callback, which is on Thursday, 1/15/26. This callback will feature a dance/movement call and may require other You may also be asked to read dialogue from scenes, sing, etc.

Our hero and Maleficent’s daughter. Under her hardened, sarcastic exterior, she has a sense of justice and a heart of gold.
