• Action- Design the ultimate communication device. What does it look like, how does it function? 
• Types of Communication

  • Non-verbal (kinesthetic)
    • How do you prefer to communicate based on your representational system? (Sight, sound, touch)
    • Answer these questions: 
      • How do you prefer to talk to somebody? Phone, in person, text/email/video. 
      • When you learn something new, do you prefer to visualize the process, hear the process explained, or try to do the process step by step?
      • When on vacation which brings you the most happiness/relaxation? Hearing the sounds of the beach, feeling the sun and sand, the view of the sun over the ocean?
      • When you feel overwhelmed, it helps you most to: see the big picture, talk it out, write an action list?
      • If you agree with someone, you are more likely to say: that feels right, that looks like right, that sounds right, that makes sense?

    • How does this help us to form connections?
      • When we meet people, we are drawn to those who communicate similarly to ourselves because it flows naturally. However, we must learn ways to communicate with ALL potential connections. 
      • Mirroring- observe the person’s body language, listen to the words they use as they talk- mirroring that back to them makes them feel more at ease and that you are paying attention.
